从熟稔直呼语看《老友记》中结盟关系的构建

 先前的语言学研究对于直呼语尚未提供一个统一的功能分析。为此，本论文力图从不同角度对这一现象进行研究，如采用面子与礼貌理论以及友谊中的结盟关系等视角进行探析。人们对于称呼语的普遍认同是它的维护关系职能，笔者的分析则显示它们是如何在《老友记》的友谊维护中发挥作用的。按大致情况分类，《老友记》中熟稔称呼语一般出现运用于以下五类情景：1)问候和告别仪式；2)道歉；3)要求；4)安慰；以及5)知识的炫耀。直呼语人际功能的定性研究结果与麦卡锡和艾其夫(2003)语料的定量研究有部分的相似之处，语言学界对直呼语中问候与告别的'研究在本文的研究中得到了验证，尽管某些学者将挽救面子免受威胁的直呼语归为缓和语(mitigators)，麦卡锡和艾其夫(2003)等人也认为道歉，要求，安慰以及知识炫耀等范畴的熟稔称呼语可归类为缓和语，但笔者认为亲密朋友之间并不应过于注重布朗和莱文森所说的面子，而是更为私秘的情感问题。 本文除了致力于对语言学范畴中话语分析的探讨之外，还涉足了友谊关系的研究。虽然笔者所研究的是一个虚拟的朋友圈，但相关分析表明：最好把友谊看作一个动态的过程，更具体地说，友谊建立的动态过程是一个在结盟与不结盟之间寻找平衡的过程。此外，本文对于结盟关系的情景的划分，即问候／道别仪式；道歉；要求；安慰以及知识炫耀等对于友谊发展的研究也有所贡献。【关键词】：友谊 结盟关系 熟稔直呼语 双重结盟
